Antiques Returns to Atlanta Market

Antiques return to Atlanta Market with the debut of Chelsea on Peachtree, a new destination for one-of-a-kind finds.

There's something special about finding a piece you didn't know you were looking for. A vintage painting that completes a room. An antique table with a story to tell. An unexpected decorative object that adds just the right touch of personality.

This January, that spirit of discovery returns to Atlanta Market with the debut of Chelsea on Peachtree, a new antiques and vintage destination in First Finds, presented by Golden Oldies.

Located on the first floor of Building 3, Chelsea on Peachtree will bring together 50+ dealers from across the country, offering an eclectic assortment of antique and vintage furniture, artwork, lighting and decorative accessories.

The concept builds on the success of Chelsea on Green, Golden Oldies' established antiques destination at High Point Market.

"We wanted to bring that same spirit of discovery to Atlanta Market and create a place that feels different from the traditional showroom experience," says Erik Weinstein of Golden Oldies. "Atlanta has an incredible design community, and we see an opportunity to give buyers a destination where they can find pieces with history, character, and a point of view."

A Little Old, A Lot of New Possibilities

With each dealer bringing a distinct perspective and specialty, Chelsea on Peachtree promises a constantly evolving assortment of discoveries. Buyers can expect everything from substantial statement furnishings to smaller decorative objects, with opportunities to connect directly with the dealers who know their pieces best.

For interior designers, antiques offer a way to create spaces that feel layered, personal and collected over time. Retailers, meanwhile, can discover distinctive merchandise that sets their assortments apart or source vintage pieces to add character to their store displays.

"Antiques and vintage furnishings bring texture, patina, and a sense of authenticity that can be difficult to achieve with newly manufactured pieces alone," Weinstein says.

And there's no need to choose between old and new. A vintage table can bring warmth to a modern room, while an antique lamp or unexpected decorative object can add character to contemporary furnishings.

For buyers new to sourcing antiques, Weinstein encourages an open mind and a willingness to explore. Ask dealers about a piece's age, origin, materials and condition, and consider how it might fit into a project or assortment.

"Come with an idea of what you're looking for, but leave room for discovery," he advises. "Some of the best finds are the pieces you weren't expecting to take home."

Chelsea on Peachtree debuts January 13–17, 2027, as part of First Finds in Building 3, Floor 1.
